This antique brooch, handcrafted around 1890s in 14 karat gold, features an artful forget-me-not flower, with light purple enamel and a diamond at its center. The bright Old European-cut diamond totals .14 carats, and it is graded G-H color and VS clarity. The petals are wonderfully naturalistic, and even at first glance one can appreciate its exquisite enameling work — just look at the superb graduation of color, and every fiber and vein of each leaf is highlighted too! Truly amazing detailing. This antique pin/brooch measures 1 and 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide, and it is in great condition. The early c-catch closure is original to the era in which it was crafted.
