A kaleidoscopic antique diamond brilliantly sparkles in this gorgeous filigree ring from around 1930! The 1.13 carat diamond is a transitional cut, an often creatively proportioned cut that bridges the old European and the modern brilliant diamond cuts. The stunning filigree setting displays intricate metalwork in handmade platinum that despite appearances, is anything but delicate. The center stone is certified by EGL USA as a colorless/near colorless F-G color grade and clean SI1 clarity grade. Four fine single-cut diamonds add a touch of sparkle to to the airy basket, elevating the center stone and adding about .12 carat in total diamond weight to the ring. They are graded G color and VS clarity. The ring is currently a size 5 1/2 and may be easily resized up or down upon request.
