This beautifully carved jade pendant features branches of a peach tree with a bird perched within its leaves. In Chinese Taoist mythology, the sacred tree of immortality is a peach tree. Peaches are considered divine fruit with the power to keep you perpetually young. Peach wood is believed to ward off evil. What wonderful charms to be carved on such a lovely piece of jade! The bale, adorned with a flower on either side, is made of 14k yellow gold. The pendant measures just under 2 1/2 inches long, 1 3/8 inches wide, and just over 1/4 inch thick.
