Victorian Revival Sapphire and Diamond Drop Earrings
A twilight blue sapphire sits in the center of an eight-pointed star surrounded by a halo of diamonds in these mystical dangle earrings! These 18k two-tone gold beauties hang like sparking chrysanthemums close to the ears. Their design harkens back to the 19th century, though they were made in the 1930s or 50s when Victorian designs were chic again and reproduced. Eight full brilliant cut diamonds glitter in each earring. They are all near colorless H-I grade, in the VS-SI clarity grade range, and total a carat weight of about 1.28. The drops are just over 1/2 inch in diameter and hang about 3/4 inch from the top of the ear wire.
