This elegant brooch was very skillfully hand wrought out of 14k yellow gold. Over the years it has acquired a natural patina that gives the gold a slightly rosy hue. The naturalistic design features an array of  AAA or "gem grade" Akoya pearls. We have approximated the date of this piece to be circa 1910. 

The dimensions are 2 1/4" by 1 1/4" with the actual pin back measuring 1 1/2" long.
