Materials: 18 karat yellow gold, enamel, over 1 carat Colombian emerald, pigeon-blood rubies, 62 small diamonds. 

Size: Wingspan is just over 3 inches, from head to tail is 2 inches long. 

Condition: Excellent. 

Description: This incredible brooch represents many days of work by a highly skilled jeweler. When held to light this dragonfly looks as though it's made of stained glass - each tiny panel of enamel is supported by an intricate web of 18 karat gold. Set with pigeon-blood rubies for eyes and at the tips of the wings and beautiful Colombian emeralds down the body. Plenty of diamonds add sparkle to the tops of the wings and around the rubies.
