Sleek geometric cuts, smoky crystals, and shining silver-tone accents all come together to give this stately brooch the noble presence for which the Maltese cross design is known. The cross is made up of eight beautifully cut, translucent grey glass crystals that are both subtle in their reflective sparkle and bold in size. The brooch was made in the 1940s or 50s. It measures about 2 1/8 inches square.
