Looking sharp has real meaning with this 1947 dagger and sheath brooch! This striking piece was made by renowned costume jeweler Urie Mandle and designed by Murray Slater. A true collector's piece, this dagger chatelaine brooch is featured in many costume jewelry history books! Each crystal glass stone is hand-set into sterling silver vermeil. The dagger smoothly slides out from its pristinely enameled sheath, complete with its own pin and connected with chain so the two pieces can be pinned side by side. The piece measures about 3 1/2 inches by 1 3/8 inches and the shortest connecting chain is 5 inches long.
