These earrings tell a little story of diamond cut evolution! They feature two carats worth of diamonds of three different cuts and time periods. The topmost are rose cuts, popular for centuries until the end of the 19th. The bottom drops are old European cuts of the turn into the 20th century. They are near colorless F-G grades, and very clean VS clarity. Finally, leading into the 1920s, when these were crafted, are the transitional cuts featured in the center. They are also near colorless F-G grades, and very vibrant SI1 clarity grades. The earrings are beautifully designed and handmade. The fronts are made of platinum and beautifully carved with lovely details and milgrain edges. The sides and backings are 14k yellow gold, making them two-tone and easy to wear with other pieces! Measures 1 1/4 inches long, 3/8" at their widest.
