A rare model in Hamilton's Electric line of watches from around 1960, this midcentury watch is most loved for its far out space age design! The line was designed by Richard Arbib, a famous automobile designer of the era who was known for his futuristic, award-winning show car designs. Included in the same line of watches is the famous Ventura model which was popularized by Elvis Presley and is affectionally called the Elvis Watch! After hours of research we have come to realize that this particular model must be incredibly rare– it is similar to all of the other designs in the Electric line, though its name remains elusive to us. The Electric line of watches by Hamilton were the first electric watches on the market. Today they are highly collectible, but at the time they had a poor reputation for not running properly. This gold-filled model has been converted to a quartz movement and runs perfectly. We guarantee all or our watches for a year and will service them for their lifetime at the cost of our wholesale watchmaker. The case is 28mm wide and 12mm thick and the dial is 25mm across. The lugs are 17mm and we believe the gold-filled strap to be original. It stretches from 6 1/4 inches for smaller wrists to also fit the largest wrists.
