Beautiful inside and out! This stunning antique pocket watch is extraordinary in its impeccable make and condition! Most watches of this age have crazing on the face, inscriptions, dents, and chips in the enamel, but this one, at over 110 years old, looks to be in mint condition! Striking black enamel work, known as taille d'épargne, characterizes the gorgeous, heavy 18k yellow gold watch case with early deco accents. Made by famed Swiss watchmakers and fine jewelers, E. Gübelin of Lucerne, both the case and the mechanism are of the finest quality. The 19 jewel mechanical movement has been completely overhauled and is in excellent working condition with six adjustments. The inner mechanism is artfully designed and as delightful as the outer case! The case measures about 1 7/8 inches across (45 millimeters), and just over 1/4 inch thick (7 millimeters). The bale is about 1/2 inch long. The enamel signet reads 'EA'. The watch chain is not included but is available.
