This modernist piece was designed by Ed Wiener in midcentury New York City, just blocks from our shop, in Greenwich Village! He was a fine silversmith who is renowned as an artist who brought the post-Bauhaus and Abstract Expressionist movements together in his jewelry designs. Down to the details, even the findings are especially designed. Each sleekly sculptural panel is connected by his signature half rings with spheres on each end that secure it to the next and ensures that the necklace, though solid, drapes perfectly. A single pearl sits at its elegantly pointed center. The necklace measures 13 1/2 inches long, and about 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide.
