Handmade in 14 karat yellow gold during the 1930s but taking inspiration from Etruscan jewels, this choker-length collar features incredible granulation all throughout. Often referred to as 'Cannetille', this delicious granulated texture is made possible thanks to an ancient filigree technique that uses very detailed wire and granulation work to create beautifully-textured, bold surfaces. Each individual gold sphere is carefully placed to create decorative patterns or, in our case, this even, seamless surface — a painstakingly time-consuming task that can only be achieved by an expert goldsmith and jeweler. At 57 and a half grams, it's impressive weight signifies its dense, solid quality, and emphasizes its intricate handcrafted details throughout, while its wide and flexible nature guarantees it will be comfortable to wear for years to come.
