True blue is a Ceylon sapphire, pure in its hue. This 1.50 carat bezel-set stone is set between two pear-cut diamonds that compliment the sapphire both in their show of brilliant sparkle and incredible integrity. The diamonds have a total carat weight of about .40, boast a near colorless G-H color grade, and a clean VS clarity grade. The stones are all set in platinum bezels atop a bright 18k yellow gold shank and mounting. The white bezels allow the diamonds to pop in their glittering colorlessness while the warm yellow gold provides a beautifully contrasting hue that accents the true blue sapphire perfectly. This ring was made around 1980 and is currently a size 5 3/4 and can easily be resized up or down upon request.
