Raspberry red rubies sparkle like dawn on the water in this stunning sunburst watch! This 14k rose gold beauty was made sometime in the late 1930s in the retro style of the era. Rose gold was popular during the Great Depression and World War II as it was more inexpensive to make with cheaper alloys like copper. The pink gold tone is more subtle than modern rose gold which tends to be more coppery orange and bright. The watch boasts a 17 jeweled mechanical Swiss movement by the Panto Watch Co., designed by Champ. The face is a 3/8 inch square in a case that is just over 1/2 inch wide. The top of the watch is about 1 1/2 inches in length while the entire watch is 6 1/2 inches long, fitting a small to average sized wrist. The watch can be shortened for a smaller wrist. Extension is possible but likely not seamless.
