Everlasting elegance– this classic design never goes out of fashion! This ring was made at the tail end of the deco period, in 1931. The romantic inscription on the inner band, "Tom to Elsie 1931" tells us so! It is handmade in platinum and set with a stunning .90 carat transitional cut diamond. The EGL USA certified stone is near colorless G-H grade, and a high VS1 clarity grade. It is set into bold corner prongs that are delicately detailed with milgrain edges and beaded metal work, setting the diamond into a square that makes it appear larger and more brilliant! The band flanks the diamond on either side with five channel-set diamonds and milgrain edges to match. The side diamonds have a total carat weight of about .15. It is currently a size 6 and may be easily resized up or down upon request.
