Black opals, white opals, diamonds, and gold grating come together to create one of the most unique rings we've ever come across! This incredible 18k work of art was made around 1970 in Italy. Its style dances between the modernist and brutalist aesthetics of its time, but to a beat all its own. Four black opal doublets shimmer and shine in their varying palettes, all flat cabochons amidst individual rows of full cut diamonds and two round cabochon white opals. The eleven diamonds total a carat weight of .33 and are all graded near colorless G color, VS clarity. The ring is currently a size 6 3/4 and may be easily resized upon request. The top measures 1 3/8 inches by 1 inch, for scale.
