Is time a hidden gem? This 1960’s gold-filled bangle watch suggests so! The dial is hidden under a cover adorned with black enamel and golden fleur d'lis motifs that blend right into the matching bangle. Ernest Borel made some of the most eye-catching and interesting timepieces in the 1960s and this one is no exception. The bangle is hinged at the top and bottom of the watch case creating two arms that opened up to allow the wrist in and then securely stays in place with springed tension. The mechanical movement works well and is guaranteed for 1 year. The bangle is fit for small to average sized wrists about 5 1/2 to 6 3/4 inches around.
