Concord Platinum and Diamond Lady's Watch c1920

Concord Platinum and Diamond Lady's Watch c1920

Among the finest of Art Deco watches we have had the privilege of offering, this Concord timepiece oozes sophistication. Around 1920 when this watch was made, Concord was the most highly regarded Swiss watchmaker producing for the American market. They were the first to make watches with fine gemstones and precious metals and worked with luxury brands like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, and Tiffany! This absolute beauty has a handmade platinum case, beautifully adorned with carved sides and a uniquely shaped bezel paved with diamonds. In typical Art Deco fashion, three diamonds above and below the case are bezel set into alternating geometric shapes. Roman numerals add an extraordinary level of class to the face, as does the 14k white gold strap. The 46 diamonds total about half a carat in total weight and are full transitional cuts that truly glitter. The lugs measure 12mm and the case is 22mm wide and 7mm thick. The watch measures about 6 1/4 inches around, fitting a smaller sized wrist.
