1940s Platinum Engagement Ring- Front View

1940s Handmade Platinum 2.33ct Diamond Ring

1940s glamour at its best! This 2.33 carat GIA-certified center diamond is remarkable in its VVS1 clarity, you will not see a single flaw! The near perfect clarity allows the diamond to sparkle more brilliantly that our camera could possibly capture. In the 1940s, many old stones were recut into the modern brilliant cut, to allow for maximum light refraction. This stone is no exception, it has its ideal modern brilliance, while retaining its fiery, kaleidoscopic qualities that old cuts are known for. It is a near colorless I color grade, and loses even more color in natural daylight. The handmade platinum setting has a lovely lattice-like design. It lifts an additional .20 carats of G color, VS clarity, baguette cut diamonds on its complimentary high shoulders. It is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be resized up or down upon request. The diamond sits about 1/4 inch above the finger at its tallest.
