It sits on a red ruby whose minimally facetted cut makes for a vibrant yet subtle backdrop. Though it has all of the same attributes as a natural ruby, it was synthetically produced– a relatively new and fashionable technology at the time. Carved on the inside are the initials 'N.L.' The ring is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be resized up or down upon request.
