1830s Rose Cut Diamond Star Bangle
Gorgeously aged rose gold and a rose cut diamond starburst shine brightly in this 1830s Georgian bangle! The beautiful six pointed star is made up of buttercups and sits atop a tapered band decorated with lovely floral and leaf details. Each flower and leaf is adorned with an open-backed rose cut diamond, allowing the light to flow through and create glitter. The center diamond is closed back and appears bright white, with a very subtle sparkle: even more beautiful in candlelight, as it was meant to be worn. Most attractive is its shape, which sits beautifully atop the wrist, framing the hand and tapering around elegantly. The coppery patina is unique to its 12k rose gold composition. The bracelet is 6 1/2 inches around, fitting a small to average sized wrist. The central star is just over 1 1/8 inches wide, and the band tapers from around 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch. The safety chain is simple and easy to hook on for added security.
