This has got to be the ultimate diamond bracelet for antique lovers! Nine sizable rose cut diamonds are set into silver topped oval bezels and linked by scallop edged diamond-studded spacers, adding a bit more glitter to an otherwise subtle sparkle. True to the 19th century, the finish is silver, however the majority of the bracelet is 14k rose gold. It has a heavy patina and blends in well with the lightly polished silver. The larger diamonds are all closed back, which was common in the late Georgian and early Victorian eras, and meant to enhance the brilliance of the stones. Lovely leaf-like details adorn the back of the bracelet, near the clasp. The clasp is snug and secure and is flanked by both a safety chain and an additional figure 8 safety clasp for maximum security. Rose cut diamonds are difficult to weigh or estimate while set, though we can guess that there is about 6 carats in total diamond weight.
