1940s Old Pawn Slim Silver Turquoise Cuff
A souvenir from the days of luxurious train travel across the American Southwest! This cuff was produced in what is known as the "Fred Harvey Era" of the early twentieth century. He was an entrepreneur who opened up the Southwest to tourism by making train travel more desirable with restaurants at every station. This allowed for shops to open up at these depots, where souvenirs like this could be sold! Most of these pieces were made by Native Americans for this market. They were usually stamped with traditional symbols on the outer surface, just like this iteration. Made with 3 three beautifully-aged turquoise stones, the result is this incredible rendition of Zuni jewelry, ready to be worn and adored!
