The finest cameos are wearable sculpture, and this incredible beauty is a fine example! She is sculpted so multi-dimensionally that she pops out of the frame, her profile a complete half of her head and face, with meticulously detailed flowers throughout her fine hair and curls. She was hand-carved in the early Victorian era from fine pink coral and framed in handmade 14k yellow gold. The gold frame is simple with a unique design of open prongs that surround the cameo with a halo of small rays. The setting features both a pin-back to be worn as a brooch and a hinged hideaway bale to be worn hung on a chain as a pendant necklace.
