Ever more rare, the coral pieces on these collar buttons are exceptional. They have beautiful, even patterning, and are the perfect shade. They were made to be collar buttons, but serve well as cufflinks. They are antique, made around the turn of the century. They are set in rolled gold, an incredibly hardy plating process of the period that adheres a thick sheet of gold to a base metal. It looks and wears just like rose gold, and can last for over a century, as these exemplify, and most likely for many more years to come. The coral pieces measure 18mm in diameter and 11mm at their thickest point. The hardware is 13mm in diameter and the entire piece is 20mm in length.
