Old European Diamond Masonic Ring c1931
This stunning ring is steeped in Masonic symbolism only a true Freemason can completely decode. Dedicated in 1931, this stately ring features a fiery old European cut diamond at the center of a double-headed eagle, a symbol of the The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, commonly known as the Scottish Rite. We believe the 32 on the side indicates 32 degrees, meaning it may have belonged to the Master of the Royal Secret or the Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret. Black enamel allows much of the carvings to stand out while in other places it has faded and the motifs are harder to distinguish for someone unfamiliar with the organization. The diamond boasts a clean VS1 clarity grade and an I-J color grade, certified by EGL USA (EGL Report #US400150329D). The inner band is inscribed "Dad and Mom, August 27, 1931". The ring is currently a size 13 and measures between 6 and 13 millimeters wide. We are happy to have it resized upon request.
