Sweet, sweet filigree! This 1920's 14k filigree necklace could not be any cuter with all of its heart-shaped sapphires and a bow in the center! The sapphires are a beautiful true blue, though synthetic. In the deco period, synthetic stones were the latest technology and all the rage, therefore very commonly found in 1920's jewelry. They have all of the properties of natural sapphires, including their exceptional hardiness, only they were created in a lab as opposed to found in a mine. The diamonds are natural, total a carat weight of .20, and are a fine G color grade and VS clarity. They are all transitional cuts and original to the piece. The necklace measures about 16" around.
