Edwardian Triple Diamond Drop Pendant c1910
This three tiered diamond pendant is captivating in its uniquely English construction. The prongs are held tightly to the diamonds through the tension of rings wrapped around them, allowing them to protrude from the piece and stand out prominently. We have only seen this kind of design come from England in the Edwardian era. It is made of palladium, a more uncommonly used metal similar to platinum. It has a dark patina that makes it appear as tarnished silver. The diamonds are light fancy brown old European cuts– their soft golden hue perfectly compliments the aged metal. They have a total carat weight of about .75. The pendant measures about 1 3/4 inches long and just over 1/2 inch at its widest. The chain is not included, please inquire about our many options!
