A stunning depiction of the god Mercury (also known as Hermes) makes this little locket stand out! Handmade in France around 1900, this bright 18k yellow gold locket is of exceptional quality. The maker hallmarked it with both a 'CR' signet and 'BECKER' indicating their pride in their work and reflecting its excellent craftsmanship. The locket includes its original frame on the inside. It is hinged at the bottom, securely clicking shut and opening at the top. It measures 3/4 inch in diameter though with its adornments and bale it measures about 1 inch by 1 1/4 inches. The chain is not included, please inquire for price and additional chain options.
