This beautifully detailed 14k yellow gold locket was handmade in the 1870s. The gold has a slight rose hue to it and is adorned with dreamy hand-chased feather-like scrolls. The center is engraved with the initials 'M.G." and can be filled and/or re-engraved upon request! The hinge lies on the bottom right edge and clicks shut on the top left edge. The locket includes its intect original frame on the inside. It measures about 1 inch by 1 1/8 inch and about 1 1/2 inches long from the top of the bale to the bottom point.
