Completely handmade in the 1940-50's by Frank Rebajes, a NYC jeweler with a very interesting history! Originally born in the Dominican Republic, he immigrated to the United States in the 1920s as a teenager. A self-taught craftsman, he would make his jewelry creations out of cans and scrap metal, often taking inspiration from animals, nature and modern art. Eventually his career took off, later opening a store in the Greenwich village and 5th Avenue!

This rare cuff features a striking leaf design, rendered in 925 Sterling silver with beautiful patina. A testament to fine craftsmanship and the creative spirit, we love all of Rebajes' refined work from when he resided in Greenwich Village!
