Navajo Pearls by Selina Warner
Selina Warner is a renowned Acoma-Diné silversmith and jeweler who honed her craft under master Diné jewelers Harry Morgan and Betty Joe. These handmade saucer-shaped beads are known as 'Navajo Pearls'. Each is meticulously handmade in heavy sterling silver and stamped with a flower-like scalloped cloud motif on either side. The stamped design radiates around the bead's center where chain is strung through. These beautifully crafted beads have a high polish that shines around their smooth rims, in contrast with the stamped design, which is dark with a heavy patina. A small silver tag near the hook and loop clasp is signed 'SW' by the jeweler herself. These stunning beads are bound to be treasured in any collection, beloved for their rich culture and traditional, master craftsmanship.
