4.46 Carats Old European-Cut Diamond Ring
This big, beautiful diamond shows off the unique beauty of this antique cut: the Old European diamond! At this scale, we can see its kaleidoscopic character in full detail, each facet more vivid than the next. Built in handmade 18 karat yellow gold and platinum around the 1910s, the center diamond's fiery sparkle is perfectly complemented by a halo of bezel-set diamonds of the same cut, totaling 3.22 carats and graded G-H color and VS-SI, including the diamonds that adorn the split shank.
4 sleek prongs hug the center diamond and raise it ever-so-slightly, allowing it to take centerstage and resulting in this bold but feminine design. It is our biggest diamond to date — This 4.46 carat Old European-cut diamond is GIA Certified and it boasts an I color and eye-clean VS2 clarity grading (GIA Report # 5234073056). This Edwardian-era antique ring is currently a size 5 and 1/2 and it may be easily resized to your needs.
