Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Dinner Ring c1920
Though the dinner ring is a classic of the Art Deco era, each is its own unique kind of spectacular! This one stands out for its elegantly pointed ends, its three stunning central diamonds, and its kite-shaped sapphire accents! The diamonds that glitter throughout the entire ring total a carat weight of about 1.80. The most center stone is a transitional cut weighing about .55 carat and graded G near colorless and SI2 clarity. The transitional cut diamonds that flank the center stone above and below total a carat weight of about .64 and are graded G near colorless grade and SI2 and I2 clarity. The remaining diamonds add .60 carat in total to the ring and are all transitional full cut, G near colorless grade, and VS clarity grade. The sapphires are synthetic, as was standard in the 1920s when this ring was handmade in platinum. The ring is currently a size 8 1/2 and may be easily resized up or down upon request. The top measures 1 1/4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide, for scale.
