Deco Dinner Ring c1920

Deco Dinner Ring c1920

The distinctive Art Deco dinner ring of the flapper era was in many ways a celebration of independent women– liberated from their restrictive corsets and empowered with the right to vote. The striking north-south design dazzled on the right hand, proudly on display under a cocktail glass in a speakeasy or at a dinner party. The dinner ring was commonly purchased by the wearer as a fashion statement and an ode to independence, not typically given by a man, or denoting any kind of commitment except to own self.

This handmade platinum beauty is among the most elegant dinner rings we've come across, showcasing the high art of the style. Over 1.85 carats of antique cut diamonds sparkle throughout. Three stones stacked at its center make for a stunning centerpiece. They are graded as follows: .90 carat old European cut in the center, J-K color grade, I1 clarity grade; .45 carat old European cut, G near colorless grade, SI1 clarity grade; .20 carat transitional cut, H-I color grade, SI2 clarity grade. Another .32 carat in total weight of transitional cut diamonds surround, adding a glamorous glitter. The ring measures just about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide, for scale. It is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be easily resized up or down upon request.
