Diamond Flower Cocktail Ring c1960
Coneflowers, or echinacea flowers, turn themselves up to the sun, their petals hanging like a skirt around them. They soak up the sun and in turn give generously as medicinal plants. This stunning cocktail ring expresses the coneflower's warm radiance with brilliant diamonds and rich yellow gold that capture the spirit of the sun itself. Made sometime between the 1950s and 70s, this 18k gold ring is set with about 2.25 carats in total weight of diamonds graded G near colorless and VS clarity grades. While the diamonds pavé set into the top center are all brilliant full cuts, the diamonds bordering the petals are all single cuts. There is one diamond on the top that is an SI clarity grade. The ring is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be resized upon request. The top of the ring measures about 20 by 23 millimeters and 14 millimeters tall, for scale.
