Rose-Cut Diamond Navette Ring C. 1850s
This stunning 'navette' ring, made during the Victorian era circa 1850s, is adorned with an array of Rose-Cut diamonds totaling about 1 carat, graded G-H color and VS-I2 clarity. The antique Rose-Cut diamonds are set in a closed, foiled back setting, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold with a rosy undertone, while the shank was added a little later on in the 20th century, in 14 karat gold as well. The largest diamond sits at the center, and its domed top highlights its visible, triangular facets that sparkle at every move, while the patina of the metal makes it stand-out ever so wonderfully, giving this antique ring an ethereal, romantic feeling. The top of this antique navette ring measures approximately 1 inch long by 3/8 of an inch at its widest point. Its balanced design truly elongates the finger, making it an exceptional cocktail ring that captures the essence of old-world elegance!
