Diamond Navette Ring c1880

Diamond Navette Ring c1880

Quite simply the most perfect 'navette'! If you've been deprived of this kind of beauty, a navette is a ring known for its long, flat marquis shape from the late 19th century, usually paved with diamonds and other fine gemstones. The term translates to "little turnip" in French! Typically we see navettes with white metal tops where the diamonds are set. It is refreshing to see this one in 14k yellow gold all the way through, providing a brilliant contrast to these stunning old-cut diamonds and allowing them to pop!

A fancy light yellow old-mine cut diamond takes centerstage in this Victorian-era rendition, flanked by two old European-cut diamonds above and below, making up five diamonds in the center.

26 rose-cut diamonds border the edges of the navette, shimmering in a subtle, elegant way that any antique jewelry lover will be sure to appreciate. Handmade in 14 karat yellow gold with a rosy undertone, this striking navette ring is a true testament to Victorian craftsmanship and among the finest we've come across. Its substantial design elongates the finger, making it an exceptional cocktail ring that captures the essence of old-world elegance!
