Transitional Diamond Custom Ring with Halo
Art Deco meets the Midcentury-era in this spectacular diamond ring! This dazzling custom-made beauty centers a trinity of transitional cut diamonds from the 1920s in their original handmade platinum mounts all beautifully set in a halo of brilliant diamonds added in the 1950s! Most magnificent is the dreamy 1.00 carat antique diamond at its center, boasting a kaleidoscopic glitter unmatched by modern cuts. It sits between an antique diamond on either side, each set within a delineated soft arrow shape with milgrain beading– classic Art Deco! A fiery halo completes the ring, transforming the deco engagement ring into a glamorous diamond ring that defies classification! Its shank is cleverly equipped with a sizing bar that opens to allow the ring to pass over a large knuckle and then clasp close to fit a smaller finger base. Though we are happy to replace this ingenious shank with a plain version, it works beautifully for those with knuckles that are wider than the finger. We imagine this ring was a custom-made upgrade to a wedding ring, perhaps for an anniversary, and worn well into elderhood...how special to be a symbol of a long life filled with love!
