Antique Diamond Gold Filigree Solitaire c1930

Antique Diamond Gold Filigree Solitaire c1930

A filigree fairy tale! Filigree work, or lacy metal work, is most commonly found in handmade platinum from the 1920s because of the metal's integrity and popularity in the deco period. Though commonly requested in our shop, fine filigree work is not common in yellow gold. This romantic ring makes dreams come true with its rich gold filigree setting! The gold's rare, seemingly fine and delicate details are as sharp and solid as they were nearly a century ago when it was made. The stunning 1.17 carat modern brilliant cut diamond at its center was cut from an old mine diamond, giving it the fiery charm of an antique cut with all the brilliance of the modern!  It is set with six double-tipped prongs that embrace it within dynamic filigree details that elegantly descend from the top of the diamond down into the ring's band. Dreamy scrolls, refined etchings, and exquisite lines adorn this ring with an aura of high romance that truly defines 'happily ever after'!
