Among the finest of Art Deco watches we have had the privilege of offering, this Hamilton timepiece oozes jazz age sophistication and style. Around 1930 when this watch was made, Hamilton was the most highly regarded American watchmaker in the world, and their timepieces remain among the most collectable to this day. This stunning piece of jewelry has a handmade platinum case, beautifully adorned with dynamic deco details, stunning diamonds and natural sapphire accents. In typical Art Deco fashion, the diamonds are set into interlocking geometric shapes that create unique, intricate patterns throughout. The diamonds total a carat weight of about 2.50 and all boast near colorless F-G color grades and VS clarity grades. There are 28 full cut diamonds, 40 single cut diamonds, and 10 natural blue sapphires. The watch is currently very small, measuring only about 5 1/4 inches long, though an extender can be made to accommodate other sizes. The case measures about 14.5 millimeters wide while the strap measures about 7 millimeters wide. The mechanical movement is in excellent working order and guaranteed for a year, after that we'll provide at-wholesale-cost servicing as long as we are in business.
