Ruby and Diamond Rose Gold Cuff Bracelet Watch c1930
Art Deco opulence meets playful retro flair in this spectacular between-eras bracelet watch from the 1930s! The classic 1920s petite diamond-encrusted white gold tank watch has traded its usual thin cord strap for an elaborate rose gold cuff bangle. The watch face is framed by sprays of fine rubies to its north and south, each sprig stemming from a rose gold dome topped with a bezel set diamond in white gold, perfectly complementing the pieces two-toned look.
This statement piece is handmade in 14k gold and set with fine genuine rubies, 1 carat in total weight of diamonds, and a fully serviced 17 jewel mechanical movement by Cortina. The two largest diamonds set in bezels above and below the centerpiece are transitional cut weighing about .20 carat each, .40 carat in total weight, and graded near colorless G grade and VS to SI clarity grades. The single cut diamonds around the watch face total about .60 carat, graded G near colorless, VS clarity. The bracelet measures about 7 inches around and graduates from 1 1/8 inches wide to 1 5/8 inches at its widest point. For scale, the watch face measures about 1/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch tall.
