1.10 Carat GIA Certified Old Mine Cushion Cut Diamond Ring
This diamond is a cushion you want to curl up and dream in! Its exceptional clarity gives it a mesmerizing sparkle that you might just want to dive into. This old mine cut diamond dates back to the early to mid 19th century, judging by its large culet, or facet on the bottom point of the stone. The larger the culet, the earlier the diamond was cut! It weighs 1.10 carat and boasts a near colorless I grade and a VS1 clarity grade– certified by GIA, the toughest diamond graders in the world. It is set into a hand-detailed platinum mounting with about .18 carat in total weight of G color VS clarity single cut diamonds that accentuate its dreamy twinkle. The mounting is of an early deco style with its graduated marquis shapes and intricately carved details spanning all the way around the band. An inscription from the original lovers spans the inside of the shank, "H.L. to K.C." The ring is currently a size 5 1/2 and may be resized easily, up or down, upon request.
