1.45 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Ellipse Ring c1940
A lot of diamond in a little profile, this antique color-changing diamond stuns in a glittering elliptical setting! Often the boldest, most beautiful diamond rings are high-profile and make themselves known when they catch on clothing or make it difficult to get into a pocket. This unique ring defies that norm, giving a sizable stone an easy-to-wear low-profile while remaining a striking statement. The c1910 diamond is a 1.45 carat old European cut diamond with color changing properties reserved to stones cut in this period. While in natural light, it boasts a near colorless H-I color grade, and indoors it has a fancy faint yellow O-P grade! It is a very fine VS1 clarity grade and certified by EGL USA. The 1940s setting is handmade in platinum and features an additional .35 carat in total weight of near colorless G color, VS clarity grade diamonds. The ring is currently a size 4 1/2 and may easily be resized up or down upon request.
