Romance and stability– a lovely marriage indeed! This unique beauty marries a very sweet antique basket mounting to a strong and simple 1940s setting. The old mine cut diamond sits in what we can infer is its original 18k handmade white gold basket. Scallops border the 1.55 carat diamond, accentuating its size and giving it a chrysanthemum-like appearance. GIA has certified the diamond as a K color grade, showing hints of yellow pigment, and an SI2 clarity grade. The 1940s setting perfectly balances the diamond's mounting with high shoulders that add a straightforward line of glitter with .12 carat in total weight of single-cut, channel-set diamonds. The ring is currently a size 6 and may be resized up or down upon request.
