Victorian Taille d'Epargne Enamel Dangle Earrings c1870

Beautifully detailed curving flourishes rise and descend from a twinkling diamond at the center of these darling Victorian dangles! Consisting of three hinged panels that drop from a lever-backed hook, these earrings delicately dance alongside their wearer as each articulated part shifts with every movement. A finial-like motif on the lever-back repeats the silhouette of the shell-like flourishes below, which elegantly graduate so that the bottom beautifully anchors the dangles. Antique diamonds twinkle in each center, catching the light as they dance. The curving shells are etched with glowing texture and accentuated with taille d'epargne black enameling. A subtle mix of blush rose and rich yellow gold completes the earrings with 1870s charm, highlighting their sculptural forms and dynamic textures. Romantic and elegant, these Victorian earrings make a perfect finishing accent for the loveliest of looks!
