A rich, handmade, uniquely linked gold chain, a taille d' épargne centerpiece, and a gorgeous cameo pendant bring together the most quintessentially Victorian aesthetics in one remarkable necklace! The chain's complex link pattern is unlike any we've seen– alternating between elliptical shaped and round concave rings, as well as thin rope and flat, wide carved ring elements throughout. The result is a marvelously detailed and textured chain that beautifully flows right into the captivating taille d'épargne centerpiece in perfect balance. Hanging within the centerpiece's arched bottom is a fine hardstone cameo, itself adorned with a pearl at its base and a dangling drop of gold below, completing the necklace with an elegant silhouette. Both the dangle and cameo may be separated and removed, allowing for an option to wear this piece with other pendants or a small watch! As the centerpiece includes a pinback, we do believe this piece was likely worn in other ways and is perhaps a marriage of sorts, though certainly a spectacular one indeed!

• Tongue in groove clasp goes into centerpiece
  • Other end of chain is connected with jump ring, may be replaced with spring ring to remove centerpiece completely and wear as pin.
