As pretty as the real thing, this 1920s-30s costume bracelet has us fooled! Paste, the original crystal rhinestone, is heavier than the glass stones that came after, and certainly have a lot more sparkle and integrity than the plastic rhinestones of today. This bracelet was made with more care than a lot of the fine jewelry made today by machines. Every stone is set by hand with individual beads of metal that act as prongs, securing the stones for nearly a century and beyond! The metal is what is referred to as 'pot metal' or a mix of many metals that was often used in cookware at the time. It makes the perfect statement bracelet, giving you a bit of deco glitz without emptying out the bank account! It is a little over 3/4 inch wide, and almost 7 3/4 inches long, fitting an average to large wrist. Perfect over a long elegant glove, as it was meant to be worn!
