1920's Handmade Platinum 2.46ct Diamond Ring

1920's Handmade Platinum 2.46ct Diamond Ring

Photographs simply do not capture all of the beauty of this 1920s handmade platinum ring! The diamond and it's setting are equally matched in beauty, quality, and craftsmanship. Complete with a GAL certification, this ring features a stunning 2.46 carat, J color, VS2 clarity, transitional cut diamond. It is remarkably clean and is near colorless in natural daylight. The cut gives it exceptional brilliance while maintaining the play of reflective color on the surface and unique character that we love about antique diamonds. The setting is almost regal in it's details, yet allows the diamond to sit low, despite it's size. It includes an additional two diamonds on either side of the center, all ranging in G-H color, VS to SI clarity, and totaling a carat weight of about .25. The setting is finely carved at every angle, every edge has milgrain details, and there is even some fine filigree work on each side. Even the prongs have carved details! This ring certainly makes the most stunning engagement ring. The diamond sits 1/4 inch tall. The ring is currently a size 7 1/2 and may be sized as requested.
